Who we are

ListingShield is an early-access trademark screening tool for Etsy sellers. You can contact us at hello@listingshield.app.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide or generate when using ListingShield, including:

• Account details such as your email address and authentication provider.
• Account or access request details such as your name, shop URL, product category, and any notes you submit.
• Listing text you choose to check, including titles, tags, and descriptions.
• Check results, check history, feedback, support messages, and quota requests.
• Billing information needed to manage your subscription, such as your plan, subscription status, and payment-provider customer and subscription identifiers. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
• Basic usage, event, and error data used to keep the service reliable and improve the product.

Google sign-in data

If you sign in with Google, we use Google OAuth to authenticate your account. We may receive basic Google account information such as your email address and profile identifier. We use this only to create or access your ListingShield account and do not sell Google user data.

ListingShield's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

• To provide trademark screening, check history, and account features.
• To create accounts, manage subscriptions and payments, and respond to support messages.
• To monitor reliability, investigate errors, and prevent abuse.
• To improve matching quality and reduce false positives.
• To send transactional emails such as access confirmations, magic links, and support replies.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to run ListingShield, including hosting, authentication, database, email delivery, trademark data, payment processing (Stripe), analytics, and limited AI-assisted relevance infrastructure. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to ListingShield. Stripe processes your payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive confirmation of payment and subscription status but not your full card details.

Cookies and authentication

ListingShield uses cookies and similar local storage for essential authentication and session management.

We also use one optional measurement tool: the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, which help us understand whether our advertising works. The browser pixel only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner; declining stores your choice and no advertising cookie is set. Separately, when you sign up or make a payment we may send Meta a hashed (unreadable) form of your email address and account id together with the event, so ad performance can be measured without sharing your identity in plain text. You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can request deletion of measurement data by emailing hello@listingshield.app.

Data retention

We keep account, check, feedback, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, improve the product, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account by emailing hello@listingshield.app.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete personal data associated with your ListingShield account by contacting hello@listingshield.app. We may need to retain limited records where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Changes

We may update this policy as ListingShield develops. If we make material changes, we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify users.
